Nomination of "Art of Crafting and Playing Rubab/Rabab" for Inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2024
The "Art of Crafting and Playing Rubab/Rabab" intangible cultural heritage element is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The "Art of Crafting and Playing Rubab/Rabab" file, which was prepared by Mana Naqsh Institute, has been submitted to UNESCO by Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan for world inscription.
The file "Art of Crafting and Playing Rubab/Rabab", which was jointly submitted by the states parties of Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The file was prepared by Mana Naqsh Art & Culture Institute.
The file "Ceremony of Mehrgan" is to be examined by the Committee for possible inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, during the 19th Session of the UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, and if approved, it will be inscribed in 2024 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
