Holding the "Night of Traditional Music of Tajikistan" Ceremony at ECO Cultural Institute in collaboration with Mana Naqsh
The "Night of Traditional Music of Tajikistan" ceremony, in collaboration with the Embassy of Tajikistan, ECO Cultural Institute, Mana Naqsh Heritage Institute, and Tehran ICH Centre, along with the "Memorial of Master Davlatmand Kholov" ceremony, was held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the ECO Cultural Institute. The event was attended by officials, famous artists, and activists in the field of culture and art from Tajikistan and Iran.

The "Night of Traditional Music of Tajikistan" ceremony was held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the ECO Cultural Institute. The event was a collaboration between the Embassy of Tajikistan in Tehran, the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), Mana Naqsh Heritage Institute for Art & Culture, and the Tehran ICH Centre of UNESCO. The ceremony was attended by Davlat Safarzoda, Deputy Minister of Culture of Tajikistan, Nizomiddin Zohidi, Ambassador of Tajikistan in Tehran, officials and ambassadors from various countries in Tehran, as well as directors, cultural activists, and famous artists from Tajikistan and Iran. The event was made even more remarkable with the esteemed presence of Professor Jalaleddin Kazzazi, Master Shahram Nazeri, and Master Hossein Alizadeh.
The first part of the ceremony included the performance of "Shashmaqom" and "Falak" music pieces by a group of outstanding Tajik singers and musicians. Both are inscribed on the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of UNESCO.
In the second part of the ceremony, the "Memorial of Master Davlatmand Kholov" was held by Mana Naqsh to honour the memory of Master Davlatmand Kholov, the famous and legendary musician, singer, instrumentalist, and composer of Tajikistan. In this section, Shahab Nikman, the managing director of Mana Naqsh, while praising the unique position of Master Kholov and expressing regret for his death, gave a speech about the formation of Mana Naqsh collaboration, especially in the "Language of Love" international project, as well as recording music albums and holding concerts in different countries with Master Kholov. Then, Misagh Mehrpour, an Oud player, and Tohid Vahid, a Kamantcheh player, performed music in memory of Master Kholov and they also played a part in his famous song "Devonah Shaw". Afterward, a short film including the speeches of Shahram Nazeri, Hossein Alizadeh, Mohammadreza Darvishi, and Bijan Kamkar about this Tajik artist, as well as the last unpublished sounds and videos of Master Kholov, from rehearsals, harmonies, and studio recordings with Master Shahram Nazeri, was presented. At the end, Master Shahram Nazeri and Master Hossein Alizadeh unveiled the memorial plaque of Davlatmand Kholov signed by Shahram Nazeri, Hossein Alizadeh, and Mohammadreza Darvishi and then they gave speeches about the unique status of this Tajik artist. Furthermore, the "Eye Scales" poetry book was unveiled, and traditional Tajik costumes and handicrafts were exhibited during this significant event.
