Nomination of "Sadeh/Sada Celebration" for Inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2023
The "Sadeh/Sada Celebration" intangible cultural heritage element is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The "Sadeh/Sada Celebration" file, which has been submitted to UNESCO by Iran and Tajikistan, was prepared in collaboration with Mana Naqsh Heritage Institute.
The file "Sadeh/Sada Celebration", which was jointly submitted by the states parties of Iran and Tajikistan, is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The preparation of this file was done under the management of Dr Alireza Hassanzadeh, the Chair of the Anthropological Research Centre for the Iranian Research Institute of Cultural Heritage & Tourism (RICHT) and in collaboration with Mana Naqsh Heritage Institute for Art & Culture.
The file "Sadeh/Sada Celebration" is to be examined by the Committee for possible inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, during the 18th Session of the UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in Kasane, Republic of Botswana, and if approved, it will be inscribed in 2023 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
