Nomination of "Traditional Felt Making" for Inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2025
The "Traditional Felt Making" intangible cultural heritage element is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The "Traditional Felt Making" file, which has been submitted to UNESCO by Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, was prepared in collaboration with Mana Naqsh Institute.

The file "Traditional Felt Making", which was jointly submitted by the states parties of Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, is nominated for inscription on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The file was prepared in collaboration with Mana Naqsh Art & Culture Institute.
The file "Traditional Felt Making" is to be examined by the Committee for possible inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, during the 20th Session of the UNESCO's Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, and if approved, it will be inscribed in 2025 on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
